Motsepe Foundation Championship Round-Up – iDiski Times

Polokwane City moved top of the Motsepe Foundation Championship table after this weekend’s fixtures.

Duncan Lechesa’s team moved top as they beat JDR Stars 2-1 on Sunday in a weekend where a number of fixtures were postponed due to clubs releasing players for the South African U23 squad.

Three fixtures were played on Friday, and AmaTuks, the only remaining unbeaten team in the league almost lost that run against Black Leopards, but came back from three goals down to draw 3-3.

Also on Friday Uthongathi won 2-1 at Pretoria Callies, while it ended goalless between La Masia and Platinum City Rovers.

The only other fixture was on Saturday when Hungry Lions lost their top spot as they lost 2-1 at Magesi.
