There are very few things that can compare to the tranquility that comes with being in nature; sharing these moments with loved ones often makes the experience even more fulfilling.

Someone who might know all about this is Rachel Kolisi. She and her daughter Keziah recently enjoyed some well-deserved mother-daughter time by deciding to take a break away from the everyday hustle and bustle of the city, to explore the beautiful landscapes of Botswana.

In a post shared on her Instagram account, the adventurous mother of two shared that they received an invitation from And Beyond Travel to go and take part in their Wildlife Ranger Challenge over the weekend.

“I ran a very slow 10km due to some technical difficulties. We were able to visit the And Beyond academy, which is doing so much amazing work to up-skill/qualify people in many areas of hospitality, including becoming vehicle mechanics.”

While there, the duo continued to explore all there was to see in the beautiful country.

Some of their activities included enjoying a mesmerizing African sunset, going on a wild safari, as well as dinning in the outdoors.

The country has become a special place for Rachel. During the festive season, she decided to visit Botswana on what was her first-ever solo trip, while the children spent time with their father, Siya. Taking to social media, she concluded “Botswana will always have a big piece of my heart.”

@rachelkolisi I did my dream trip this new year 🥹❤️ Thank you Botswana – you have a big piece of my heart 🇧🇼 I went with @AfricanHorseSafaris (not sponsored but had the BEST Experience) #botswana #africanhorsesafaris ♬ everything i wanted – s0ng4y0uu
