South African media personality and rapper Nomuzi “Moozlie” Mabena has taken a moment to celebrate a milestone that marks both personal growth and professional achievement.

Sharing her excitement on social media, Moozlie reflected on her journey from hopeful auditionee to established industry figure.

“One day you’re standing in an audition line, hoping for the best, and the next you’re an industry vet with 13 years of experience… LOOK AT GOD!!” she wrote.

The milestone comes in the wake of her role as a guest judge on SuperSport’s MVP Talent Search, a competition designed to uncover South Africa’s next wave of sports broadcasting talent, including presenters and commentators.

For Moozlie, being on the judging panel was a full-circle moment, highlighting how far she has come since her early days in the spotlight.

Moozlie first rose to national attention after winning the MTV Base VJ Search in 2012.

Over the past 13 years, she has built a multifaceted career spanning television presenting, hip-hop music, acting, and entrepreneurship.

Born in Benoni, Gauteng, the 33-year-old has become a respected voice in South African media, known for her charisma on screen and her role in breaking barriers for women in hip-hop.

Her presence on the MVP Talent Search panel added both credibility and inspiration for contestants, exemplifying how dedication, timing, and perseverance can turn dreams into lasting achievements.

The 2025/26 edition of the competition concluded with Anelisa Jaxa taking the crown, but for many, Moozlie’s journey itself remains a powerful reminder of what consistent effort and belief can accomplish.
