Moonchild Sanelly

Moonchild Sanelly rang in her 38th birthday on 20 November with a quieter, more reflective energy than fans are used to.

Known for her neon-blue hair, bold fashion choices and genre-bending sound, the artist, born Sanelisiwe Twisha, used the milestone to celebrate growth rather than glamour.

Instead of a high-energy celebration, she embraced the moment as a personal reset. Speaking to Daily Sun, she shared how this year feels different from the rest.

“This birthday feels different. I’m more grounded, more sure of who I am, and more excited about what’s coming,” she said.

For Moonchild, music remains the centre of her joy and the constant that fuels her creative evolution.

As she steps into another chapter of her life and career, she’s carrying gratitude for everything she has accomplished so far, while keeping her focus on inspiring others through her work.
