Businesswoman and reality TV star Mome Mahlangu found herself having to explain her weight loss, following a recent picture she shared on social media that raised speculations.

Taking to her Instagram page to share more insight about her weight loss, she posted a picture of her and her daughter, where they wore matching clothes. In the caption of the post, she assured her followers that she is not sick.

“Those concerned about my weight I’m not sick,” said Mome. She shared that she had a sensitive operation where a lump was removed from her womb. She further added that she did not see the need to make an announcement about her womb, and said even though she looks like she lost weight drastically, she is still healthy.

“I’m not under weight according to my Dr, just lost 5kg, I still eat healthy, no further discussion ke (I am) happy ke (I am) healthy and my body healing, be kind,” she penned.

Instagram users weighed in:

“Guess what, you still hot,” said one user.

Actress, Khanya Greens said: “Looking like a big sister.”

While another user added: “Khumo has grown ke Ausi khumo in God we trust.”

Mome is the wife of outspoken comedian, Mongezi ‘Tall A$$ Mo’ Mahlangu. The couple has had reality TV shows that kept Mzansi entertained and in the loop about their daily lives.

In late 2023,  Mome and Tall A$$ Mo melted many hearts when they confirmed that they had reunited after five months of separation.
