Thato Mokeke is happy to continue his football career with Cape Town City after the utility player renewed his contract for a further two years.
The former Ajax Cape Town, SuperSport United and Chippa United player, has signed on at the Mother City club until 2024.
Mokeke spent the 2016/2017 season on loan from SuperSport at City, and then returned to the club in January 2019 on a permanent basis.
He has featured in 123 games in all competitions for the club, predominantly in the midfield, but has also covered in defensive roles.
“I’m happy to sign the new contract with the team because the team has been looking after me for a while now,” Mokeke said about the renewal.
“So I’m very grateful for the opportunity they’ve given me, and I’m happy that I’ll be staying with them for another year.
“Hopefully we can do something together with the team.”
