Miss Universe 2025 Controversy Sparks Calls for Resignations

Explosive Claims Shake the Pageant World

The Miss Universe 2025 crown has become the centre of a storm, as former judge Omar Harfouch resigned and publicly called for sweeping changes within the organisation. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, November 22, Harfouch shared a list of “urgent measures” he says must be implemented immediately to restore credibility to the pageant.

His demands are bold: he calls for the resignation of newly crowned Miss Universe 2025, Fatima Bosch, and the organisation’s president, Raul Rocha. Harfouch alleges financial and political ties between Bosch’s family and the pageant, and accuses Rocha of “serious violations of ethics and the international charter of beauty competitions.”

Other measures include demands for full transparency in the national and international election process, a one-year extension of Miss Universe 2024, Victoria Kjær Theilvig’s reign, and an investigation into the sale of the Miss Universe organisation to Puerto Rico.

Fans and Critics Raise Eyebrows

The controversy has resonated globally. Fans took to social media to express frustration over what many perceive as an unethical win. Numerous observers argued that other contestants were stronger and more deserving of the crown, leaving Bosch’s victory widely questioned.

Rumours have intensified scrutiny, with claims that Bosch’s father, businessman Bernardo Bosch Hernández, leveraged connections to influence the outcome. Reports suggest Fatima entered the Miss Universe Mexico pageant just days before the finale, raising eyebrows among competitors and viewers alike.

The Mexico Backstory

A content creator from Mexico detailed the unusual circumstances surrounding Bosch’s participation on TikTok. According to their account:

“Everything started wrong. Everything was weird ever since the national contest… she accepted to be part of the Miss Universe edition in Mexico at the last minute. The way she enrolled was unusual… They called her and looked for her so that she could be in the pageant.”

The creator further revealed that when Bosch was crowned Miss Universe Mexico, other contestants did not congratulate her. Fans instead rallied behind a different contestant they felt should have taken the title, signaling discontent from the very start.

Part of this has been proofed but some information is not confirmed yet, so some things might not be what they seem to be. PS. All the girls were stunnigs, every single country had their charm.

Calls for Accountability

Harfouch’s public statements and the mounting online criticism have placed Miss Universe 2025 under an unprecedented spotlight. The controversy raises questions about transparency, ethics, and fairness in international beauty competitions.

With allegations ranging from family influence to rushed pageant entries, the Miss Universe organisation now faces pressure to address the claims or risk further reputational damage.

As global fans continue to debate, one thing is clear: the 2025 pageant has already become one of the most talked-about in recent memory, not for the glamour and talent on display, but for the drama behind the crown.
