Fans troll Mihlali Ndamase after showing her acne in new YouTube video

South African influencer and beauty mogul Mihlali Ndamase gets dragged over her skin breakout.

The YouTuber, who recently made a long-awaited return to her channel after five months, went makeup-free at the start of her new tutorial, and it didn’t take long for fans to notice her acne breakout.

In the 42-minute video, Mihlali reintroduced herself to viewers and shared that she’s been struggling with her skin again.

“For my day ones, you guys know me and my ongoing journey with acne. The girl had it nipped in the bud, but my skin broke out again recently,” she said candidly before diving into her makeup routine.

Her honesty struck a chord with many fans, who praised her for being real about her imperfections.

Others admired how she confidently showed her bare face before transforming into her signature glam look.

Within just two days, the video had already gained over 62,000 views and hundreds of supportive comments.

However, the tone shifted drastically on Twitter (X), where some users mocked her breakout and speculated about the cause.

One person commented, “This is not a hormonal acne issue. Those glow shots have bad effects, and this is one example of such.”

Another wrote, “This is the result of skin bleaching if you look closely. This is not normal acne.”

Others went as far as throwing shade, with one user saying, “So this is how you look without your makeup?”
