Mihlali Ndamase calls out big brands for non-payment of services

Mihlali Ndamase is one of the biggest names in the South African Influencer circles, as she has big brands giving her a paycheck from time to time. However, the social media Influencer has said enough is enough and taken to her Instagram to call out big brands for non-payment of her fees. Mihlali Ndamase came guns blazing, refusing to be the bigger person to demand that brands pay her.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Mihlali Ndamase called out Vodacom, Malfy Gin, Roth media and Saint Lounge Cpt. According to her post, Mihlali hosted Saint Lounge Cpt back in August, but they had not paid her yet for her services. She goes on to tag Vodacom and says that as much as she loves them, she did not leave her house to shoot content for free and asked them to pay her. Lastly, she tags malfy Gin and Roth media for payment of her brand ambassadorial work.

Within three hours after being called out, Mihlali posted that Saint Lounge had paid her. Immediately after, Mihlali added another post thanking Vodacom for her payment. Mihlali Ndamase is known for not playing when it coms to money as she is vocal about how much she loves it and works hard for it. Many people on Twitter have agreed that what Mihlali did to the brands is revolutionary because of how fast they paid her. Others fear that the brands may let her go after being embarrassed on social media.

Some Twitter users are now worried about other influencers and asking how they will survive if Mihlali, one of the biggest Influencers in South Africa, has to call out brands to pay her. A few months ago, club hostess Inno Morolong called the clubs she had recently hosted to deliver her just like Mihlali did. Other influencers have shared that some brands don’t pay them in time and can go for months without payment. Many freelancers have taken Mihlali’s lead and called out brands for the disrespect they get in the form of late payments.

With her millions of followers, many brands want to work with Mihlali Ndamase. She is the brand ambassador of big companies like Daniel Wellington watches, Coca-cola, Vodacom, Brutal fruit, DSTV, Baby Soft, Vodacom and many more.
