Meghan Markle’s recent commercial flight has captured hearts worldwide.
The Duchess of Sussex surprised the cabin crew of an American Airlines flight with a handwritten thank-you note that quickly went viral.
MEGHAN MARKLE’S NOTE GOES VIRAL
Flight attendant Nina Vida, who served Meghan on the flight, took to TikTok to share the delightful encounter.
“You guys will not believe who I had on my flight,” she began, beaming in her uniform. “The queen, the princess, the Duchess of Sussex.”
Vida described Meghan as “so beautiful in person” and “so sweet,” instantly winning over the crew with her warmth, according to Page Six.
The flight attendants had left Meghan a note that read, “It’s a pleasure serving you! Love you real bad,” signed affectionately as the “AA girlies.”
MESSAGE ON A NAPKIN
To their amazement, Meghan responded with a handwritten message on a napkin:
“Dear AA girlies, thank you for the love, hospitality and handwritten note — you know me well. All love right back to you. As ever, Meghan.”
Vida was particularly impressed by Meghan’s elegant, swooping cursive script. “This handwriting is giving rich, it’s giving expensive, it’s giving princess,” she joked.
This captured the regal flair of the Duchess’s penmanship. The note’s sign-off, ‘As ever,’ is a nod to Meghan’s lifestyle brand, ‘As Ever’, adding a personal touch to the gesture.

Adding a touch of humour, Meghan also complimented Vida’s manicure, which had previously been criticised by a flight captain as “intense.”
Vida recounted, “Sir, it doesn’t matter what you think because the queen said she likes them.” This playful moment highlights Meghan’s down-to-earth nature, endearing her further to fans.
Handwritten notes are indeed a rare art form today, and Meghan has long championed their significance. In her former lifestyle blog, ‘The Tig’, she wrote, “I think handwritten notes are a lost art form.
