Showering is a common part of most people’s daily routines, but one woman has revealed that she gave up the habit in primary school.
She has claimed that “the entire process being overwhelming” was the root of her decision not to shower.
“Good morning, happy Monday,” the woman, only going by Reina, started her TikTok video.
“I shower once a week,” she said.
The Sun reported that she said she was not referring to how often she washed her hair, but rather the actual frequency of her showers.
The first explanation Reina gave was that she simply did not like it. She then followed up with additional reasons as to why showering was not her cup of tea.
“From warming the water up to getting into the shower, doing all of the necessary shower things, getting out of the shower, drying off, and waiting for my hair to dry,” she said, listing the things she could not be bothered by to do.
Her next major reason for her now bathing was hating the feeling of wet hair.
She said she could not use a hairdryer, explaining that she hated the sound and going on to let viewers know that she had sensory issues in the comments section.
