Meet Princess Zulu, Okmalumkoolkat’s gorgeous partner! [photos]

In 2023, Princess Zulu announced on Instagram that, “Amafu’s dad and I are no longer together #respectfully.” However, their recent loved-up posts on social media suggest that their romance is back on track.

On 24 May 2026, many were excited to see photos of Princess and Okmalumkoolkat on Instagram, spending some quality time together.

MEET OKMALUMKOOLKAT’S PARTNER PRINCESS ZULU

Many caught a glimpse of Princess in Okmalumkoolkat’s music video for Amalobolo, where she played his love interest.

The video was released in 2018 and has garnered over 6 million views on YouTube.

This is where the lovebirds met, where a friendship quickly formed and ultimately blossomed into a romantic relationship.

In an interview with TshisaLive, Okmalumkoolkat said the following about the relationship:

“We played in the video together, then we were friends for a bit, then we decided to see each other,” he said.

PRINCESS: A KWAZULU-NATAL NATIVE

Princess was born and bred in the beautiful province of KwaZulu-Natal. Her mother, Fikile MaMzila-Zulu, describes herself as a “woman of God,” while her father, Dr Nkosenye Zulu, is the former municipal manager of the City of uMhlathuze.

In a 2021 Instagram post, Mr Zulu beamed with pride as his daughter bagged an influencer gig with renowned skincare brand Eucerin. He captioned the post “make money girl.”

PRINCESS: AN EDUCATED AND SKILLED GIRLIE

Princess is beauty and brains personified, having graduated from the prestigious film school AFDA a few years ago.

Some of her notable gigs include working as a clapper loader on the SAFTA award-winning drama series The Republic.

PRINCESS: A MODEL OF NOTE

Although her current job occupation is unknown, she is listed as a model at Boss Models in Durban. Previously, she worked within the office of the Premier in KwaZulu-Natal.

In May 2021, she and her son showcased the “moms and tots” sleepwear collection for R&R Designs.

Then, in September 2021, Princess once again modelled for the same brand, this time showcasing the Fairy Dust sleepwear set.

THE COUPLE ENJOY MIXING BUSINESS AND PLEASURE

The lovebirds collaborated once again on another creative project where Princess modelled for Okmalumkoolkat’s successful clothing brand Spova.

In 2022, she showcased various collections from the brand, such as the Purp Zine and Memeza t-shirts, and the Avo green Zine hoodies.

THE LOVEBIRDS ENJOY SPENDING QUALITY TIME TOGETHER

The Gqi hitmaker dedicated a Women’s Day tribute to Princess, stating, “To the woman who made me believe”. The couple are proud parents to their son, Amafu-amahle Othandweni Zulu.

In May 2026, the couple spent the day with Okmalumkoolkat’s family, celebrating his mother’s birthday at a restaurant.
