Media personality Bontle Modiselle celebrates her birthday, her age leaves Mzansi puzzled. She has the plug and the bling too. No doubt she is that bubbly personality we all love to hate. With an illustrious career spanning years, she has turned her life into a typical inspiring reality show. Dupped as the Queen Of Dancing, Bontle Modiselle has taken her career beyond Africa with several A-list international celebrities like Kelly Rowland jetting into South Africa to visit her.

Her thrust into the limelight might be traced back to 2015. She starred in the dance film Hear Me Move, which received an African Movie Academy Award nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

Apart from her prowess in dancing, she has established herself as a media personality. In recent years she has managed to headline several awards as a host and grace our small screens as a presenter. That’s how powerful and influential she has been since her newfound fame. She also doubles as a celebrated rapper. Despite keeping her private life under wraps, she has finally let Mzansi take a sneak in thanks to her Instagram posts. No doubt she was head over heels after turning 32 years. After all, it seems as if she is older than we thought. Her energy and youthful looks deceived us. Bontle Jade-Lee Modiselle was born to Percy and Grace Modiselle, on 7 October 1990, in Soweto, Johannesburg, and was mainly raised in the northeastern region of Johannesburg.

She took to social media to express her gratitude. She complimented her caption with some jaw-dropping pictures in a blue and white outfit. However, of interest is that she is related to model Refilwe Modiselle and television personality Candice Modiselle, who are also in the entertainment industry. Of interest is that Modiselle attended the University of Johannesburg, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Corporate Communications.

Modiselle is married to rapper Ricardo Moloi professionally known as Priddy Ugly, whom she met in 2009. On 19 August 2019, they announced they were expecting their first child through social media posts showing Modiselle’s baby bump. They then married on 28 September 2019, in a traditional African wedding. Bontle and her husband, Priddy Ugly, have a daughter they named Afrika Bonita Lerato Moloi.
