Ngizwe Mchunu, leader of the Bhinca nation, is upset with Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla, Jacob Zuma’s daughter, for being friendly with President Cyril Ramaphosa.

He posted a picture on social media showing Duduzile joking with Ramaphosa and impeached judge John Hlophe during a parliamentary debate last week.

Mchunu, who was involved in the July 2021 unrest in KwaZulu-Natal, said he would be called a sellout if he did the same.

“If it was me being friendly with Ramaphosa like this, I would have been called a hypocrite and a sellout,” Mchunu wrote in the picture’s caption.

Mchunu was criticised by MK party members and the Amabhinca for supporting Ramaphosa and the ANC over Zuma and the MK party during the 29 May elections.

They said he pretended to support Zuma in 2021, which led to the former president attending his court case related to the unrest.

On her X page, Duduzile shared a picture of herself smiling with Ramaphosa and wrote: “I’m a daughter of Gedleyihlekisa Jacob Zuma.”
