Mbule Suspended For ‘Disrespect’ – iDiski Times

SuperSport United have suspended talented midfielder Sipho Mbule until further notice for ‘disrespecting his teammates and technical team’, CEO Stan Matthews has confirmed.
Mbule has been subject of interest from Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs in recent months and has reportedly grown frustrated by not being allowed to leave the club.
It was reported in local media that the South Africa international had gone AWOL and while his absence was notable during the SuperSport media day on Wednesday, head coach Kaitano Tembo refused to comment on the player – stating comment should come from the hierarchy
Matthews, who slammed Mbule for unprofessionalism earlier this season has since confirmed to TimesLive that he’s been ‘excused’ from training, hence his recent absence.
“Sipho has been excused from training until further notice for disrespecting his teammates and the technical team,” Matthews said.
The 24-year-old has featured in only six minutes of league action since the turn of the year after being denied a move away from the club and allegedly arriving for pre-season overweight.
