Former Bafana Bafana midfielder May Mahlangu has found a new club after joining Aksu Pavlodar in the Kazakhstan Premier League.
The 33-year-old was signed before the closure of the local transfer window and will wear the Nr. 99 shirt at the club.
Mahlangu had been without a club since leaving Ordabasy in Juli 2021. The midfielder had featured 60 times for Ordabasy, scoring four goals.
Before his stint in Kazakhstan, Mahlangu also played for Ludogorets Razgrad, Dinamo Bucaresti, Sint-Truiden, Konyaspor, IFK Goteborg after making his early move to Europe to join Helsingborgs IF.
Mahlangu is a Stars of Africa graduate and played for Alexandra United before completing his move overseas.
The midfielder has represented Bafana 19 times. His last appearance was in November 2016 in a 1-1 friendly against Mozambique.
