Maxwell to make his anticipated return to SA in August

Just a couple of weeks ago, it was announced that Tamia is returning to the country in August of this year. Joining her with his electrifying soulful voice is Maxwell.

The American R&B and neo-soul artist is scheduled for two performances in August; one at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria on 8 August, followed by a show at the Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town on 11 August.

The Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer last performed in the country in 2023 when he headlined the DSTV Delicious International Food and Music Festival.

Known for his soulful songs including This Woman’s Work, Pretty Wings and Fortunate, the singer will be sharing material from his multi-decade catalogue.

The shows will take place during Women’s Month, with tickets available through Webtickets and Pick n Pay stores nationwide. Ticket prices range from R950 to R2 950 for the Pretoria show and from R1 250 to R2 950 in Cape Town.
