Matthew Booth intends taking legal route with wife Sonia Booth

Matthew Booth has broken his silence over his wife, Sonia Booth’s cheating allegations and intends on taking the legal route.

In a statement issued by Booth, he says the matter has been handed over to his attorneys as his wife’s statements were an attempt to tarnish his reputation.

Sonia Booth dropped several bombshell posts about her husband’s alleged affair with a woman she named, Bongani Mthombeni Moller.

Mrs. Booth claims her husband and Bongani were involved in an affair which included trips to Polokwane and of course, #CheesecakeGate.

Basically Sonia accused Matthew of baking a cheesecake for Bongani and used her Tupperware to deliver it to her. Sonia had initially thought Booth had baked the cheesecake for their son’s birthday.

However, Matthew Booth has vehemently denied the allegations saying he is disappointed and sad that Sonia resorted to airing these speculations on social media.

“It is with utmost sadness and disappointment that my wife Sonia Booth resorted to airing these unfounded allegations on all platforms with an intention to tarnish my name without discussion them with me, and without considering the damage that these allegations will cause, especially to our minor children who are in the middle of their final exams and to the Mthombeni-Moller family.

The matter has been handed over to my attorneys who have been instructed to vigorously take the necessary steps to claim the appropriate relief. I will leave this to the legal system and let the truth prevail in due course.”

Additionally, Booth appealed to all corporates and sponsors of the Booth Trust to not allow this personal matter to affect their sponsorships.
