Mathibe – There’s A Lot Of Goalkeepers I Communicate With

Kaizer Chiefs recruit Aubrey Mathibe is looking forward to his new role as a goalkeeping coach at the club, and further developing his coaching skills.
Mathibe, who was on the books of Chiefs as player two decades ago, was unveiled by the club on Friday.
Prior to joining Chiefs, Mathibe had a spell as a goalkeeping coach in the GladAfrica Championship with Maccabi FC, and says he enjoyed helping goalkeepers like Lloydt Kazapupa, who is now at Chippa United, and Brad Norman launch their careers.
“Ja the one that I can mention it’s Kapazua, Lloydt, he’s a Namibian goalkeeper, now first choice,” Mathibe told the club’s media department.
When he came to South Africa he was a fourth choice in Namibia and then now he’s in Chippa United, he’s doing well.
“And then again with Brad, he went after Maccabi sold it, he went to Argentina and then he did well in Argentina, so there’s a lot of goalkeepers I communicate with, and then ja, I trained them aside, they are good goalkeepers.”
