The Ngizomphosta hitmaker posted two photos on social media, showcasing the damage to his Toyota SUV following the car accident.
He captioned his post in isiZulu, “Ngibonga uNkulunkulu ngokungigcina ngiphila! Nami angazi ngisinde kanjani? which translates to “I thank God for sparing my life. I don’t know how I survived.”
His beloved legions of fans were both shocked and relieved that he had survived the car accident, flooding the comments section with warm messages of support as he recovers.

On 9 August 2026, news broke that Maskandi musician Scebi Dlamini, also known as Inkosi Yamagcokama, sadly passed away in a car accident in Richards Bay, aged 26.
The artist from Msinga, KwaZulu-Natal, was in the process of getting married to his fiancée, who was already living at his rural homestead.
