Marumo Gallants have defeated Chippa United 3-2 in a mouthwatering DStv Premiership clash at Sisa Dukashe Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Marumo looked bright in the opening minutes of the first half and dominated the ball position.
In the 30th minute, Phillip Ndlondlo broke the deadlock to put Gallants in front.
Having taken the lead, the visitors continued to take control of the showdown with more chances being created.
However, the unfazed Chippa found an equaliser through Bienvenu Eva Nga in the 37th minute.
The showpiece went into the half-time break level. A sensational second half, saw the home side taking a lead as Bienvenu completed his brace in the 54th minute of the contest.
Momentum swung back in Marumo’s favour, as they pushed forward in numbers.
In the 83rd minute, Ndlondlo levelled matters as he scored his second goal of the day.
When we thought the game will end in a draw, super-sub Joseph Molangoane netted the third goal for the visitors in the 90th minute.
In the end, it was the Limpopo-based outfit who claimed all three points to move to 11th place on the log standings with 22 points after 19 games.
