Marise Pollard, wife of Springbok fly-half Handré Pollard, has reflected on a special week since welcoming their newborn daughter.

Last week, the couple announced the arrival of their baby girl, Isabella Tanya Pollard.

Sharing a heartwarming family photo, Marise captioned it, “Hospital days, newborn haze, and so much love. What a week it has been, meeting another piece of our hearts. Lief julle op x.”

The Pollards first shared news of their pregnancy in April, writing, “Our little family is growing. Hunter is going to be a big brother in October, and we are beyond excited. God is so good.”

Celebrating his wife on her birthday this year, Handré expressed how much Marise had changed his life.

“Happy Birthday, my love,” Pollard wrote, expressing that no words could fully capture how much she means to him and their son, Hunter. The World Cup-winning Springbok added, “You are the most beautiful person, inside and out. Your kind heart and selflessness towards others and your family inspire me every day. I love doing life with you.”
