In KwaZulu-Natal, police are probing the deaths of two youngsters. Two girls, aged 6 and 14, were allegedly kidnapped by a known suspect in Ulundi on March 3 at around 7pm, according to KZN police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele.
A 6-year-old girl’s body was discovered on Friday, March 4. The person had been battered and strangled, according to police. “On Sunday, the body of a 14-year-old girl was also found.”

The Ulundi SAPS is investigating charges of murder and kidnapping, according to Mbele. There have been no arrests. In a different incident in KZN, four individuals were charged with the kidnapping of a 4-year-old girl in Dayal Road, in Clairwood, in December.
After 24 hours, the girl was found. According to a story in the Daily News, the suspects were planning to travel to Nkandla, in northern KwaZulu-Natal, to execute a ceremony with the youngster.
