Royal AM president Shauwn ‘Mam’ Mkhize has addressed rumours that club CEO Sinky Mnisi was suspended.
There have been rumours in local media that Mnisi has been suspended by the club after the departure of coach John Maduka and the transfer saga around Victor Letsoalo.
When asked about the rumours last week Friday around the unveiling of co-coach Dan Malesela, Mkhize insisted it wasn’t the right platform to address the position of the CEO. However, the Royal AM president was now again asked about the situation during a radio interview with Robert Marawa.
“I’m not going to answer that again because it’s the same thing that happened with Letsoalo when it was the R20 million [prize tag],” Mkhize said on Marawa Sports Worldwide.
“Media can say what they want to say. If I’ve got anything to say about my CEO I’m sure I’ll let you know. I call press conferences all the time, media briefings all the time, I come to radio stations all the time.
“If I had anything to say about my CEO you would’ve known. I’m not going to entertain the noise of the world.”
When asked directly whether Mnisi was suspended, Mkhize responded: “If I hadn’t said anything what would make you think he’s not?
“The CEO doesn’t clock for work. He doesn’t wake up in the morning and go to work. That’s the internal affairs of Royal AM, I’m not going to open up here in the media and say how my CEO works in my company.
“Like you’ve never seen a recipe of Kentucky [Fried Chicken] coming out. I can never tell the secrets of Royal AM and lay them bare in the media.”
