Makhadzi ‘recovering well’ in hospital after road incident

Multi-award-winning musician Makhadzi is “recovering well” in hospital following a road incident on the N1 outside Mokopane in Limpopo.

The singer, whose real name is Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, was on her way to Johannesburg for a scheduled performance on Wednesday when the incident occurred.

She had stopped and exited her vehicle when she was struck by a passing car.

Condition has improved

Makhadzi was taken to a hospital in Polokwane, where she is receiving medical care.

Her team has since confirmed that her condition has improved.

Makhadzi Entertainment spokesperson Lucky Tshilimandila said the artist is showing positive signs of recovery.

“On behalf of Makhadzi Entertainment, I can confirm that Makhadzi’s situation has improved. She’s doing much better compared to yesterday and that is a good sign for us. We are thankful for all the messages wishing her a speedy recovery,” Tshilimandila said.
