Sasha de Sousa, rumoured to be the wife of Springboks and Sharks winger Makazole Mapimpi, showed off her Mother’s Day gift to her legion of fans via Instagram Stories.

For this year’s Mother’s Day, Sasha received a lovely mug engraved in pink with the words “Love you, MOM” — a thoughtful gift from her other children, since she has three children in total.

The pain went straight to the ladies who were hoping to score a chance with Makazole upon learning that he is in a serious relationship with Sasha.
In 2024, the Springboks head coach Rassie Erasmus let slip during a media briefing that the rugby player was on paternity leave because his wife had just given birth.
In September 2025, Sasha hosted a Disney‑themed party at Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), to celebrate her son’s first birthday.
She wrote, “pray your wildest dreams come true, little one.”
“Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate prince charming’s first birthday. This is one of the big ones and we appreciate you. (BTW the theme was Prince Charming and I was Elsa),” she added.
“To the ones that stepped up in a big way, you truly humble me. Inkosi ikubusise [May God bless you],” she wrote.

March 2026 proved to be an amazing month for the hunky Makazole as he clocked his 100th cap for the Sharks, making the mother of his child proud as ever.
Sasha shared a series of Instagram Stories from the big day at Kings Park Stadium in Durban.
