Orlando Pirates winger Vincent Pule could be in line for a surprise return to the squad when they face TS Galaxy this afternoon at Mbombela Stadium.
Pule, 30, started the season in decent form with three assists in their opening six league games but suffered a serious injury which has seen him miss the next 21 outings.
However, after more than a month in first-team training, it appears he could return to the fold but Olisah Ndah is a doubt to feature against the Rockets due to a recent knock in the 0-0 draw against Chippa United.
According to the club’s official website captain Happy Jele, Goodman Mosele and Linda Mntambo are in contention to start as they rotate the squad ahead of their trip to Libya where they will face Al Ahli SC in the 1st leg CAF Confederation Cup semi-final.
The Buccaneers are aiming for three points against the relegation-threatened Galaxy – with a win potentially putting them two points behind second-placed Royal AM but they would have played a game more.
Meanwhile, a point for Galaxy would move them into 14th and push Swallows back into the relegation play-off spot which could provide a real spectacle this afternoon at 15h00.
