Miss SA 2025 first runner-up Luyanda Zuma

Miss South Africa 2025 first runner-up Luyanda Zuma has expressed heartfelt gratitude following her remarkable performance at this year’s pageant.

The actress and model took to social media to share an emotional message reflecting on her journey and the significance of her achievement.

Posting stunning moments from the glamorous event, Luyanda wrote, “Being sashed first runner-up at Miss South Africa is a moment I’ll cherish forever, not just for what it represents, but for what it means in God’s divine plan. Every message, every word of love and encouragement has touched my heart deeply.”

She continued, “Through it all, I’ve been reminded that His will has been done. I am exactly where I’m meant to be, walking in purpose, grace, and gratitude. I am my ancestors’ wildest dream, standing tall because of the prayers, sacrifices, and strength that came before me. And for that, I am endlessly thankful. Ngiyabonga kakhulu.”

The 22-year-old beauty captivated many South Africans with her poise, authenticity, and confidence throughout the competition.

Fans flooded her comment section with messages of support and admiration, celebrating her as an inspiration to young women across the country.

Luyanda finished second to Qhawekazi Mazaleni, who was crowned Miss South Africa 2025 during the star-studded finale earlier this month.

Despite not taking home the main crown, Luyanda’s humility and grace have earned her widespread praise and solidified her place as one of South Africa’s most beloved beauty queens.
