Lukaku ruled out of Chelsea’s Champions League tie with Madrid | Breaking News

Romelu Lukaku will miss today’s Champions League second leg quarter-final clash with Real Madrid due to injury, Chelsea confirmed on Monday.

The Blues are set to face Real at Bernabeu with the kick off scheduled for 21:00 in the evening.

Thomas Tuchel’s side will look to overturn a 3-1 deficit from the first leg against the Spanish giants.

The Belgian frontman has not recovered from the Achilles injury that kept him out of Saturday’s 6-0 Premier League win at Southampton.

The winners will face Manchester City or Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals of the tournament.
