However, South Africa hasn’t been spared from the global norm in the mix of things. Mzansi has seen several artists having their shot to fame in a blink of an eye, thanks to social media. These celebs include the bubbly exotic dancer Zodwa Wabantu not forgetting the late Killer Kau.

Several celebrities have had their fall in the mix of things, and social media has been said to be privy. In other daring incidents, we can say that celebrities have even committed suicide because of depression caused by social media backlash from the likes of Patrick Shai. The bubbly personality didn’t just take a break from social media but took every content on her official handles down.

Khaya Mthethwa

He had a considerable following and was one of the most followed media personalities in Mzansi, but he has since ditched hIS accounts as of December 2021.
