Lingnan University Undergraduate Programme 2022-23 Scholarships
The university offers scholarships for students who want to pursue liberal arts and are excellent in terms of academics. The scholarship offers undergraduate study in
- Arts
- Business Administration.
- Social sciences.
The scholarship provides the following benefits:
- Cost of tuition.
- Accommodation providence.
- Partial coverage for academic expenses.
- Partial coverage for living expenses.
Selected candidates must ensure a source of funds for the amenities not covered by the scholarship like graduation and hostel deposits.
Who should apply?
All the candidates must pass through the criteria mentioned below. There must not be any exceptions.
- The candidate must have a National Senior Certificate.
- The candidate must have a good record in terms of community services.
- The candidate must have an English language score as per the guidelines of the university. Click here to check the guidelines.
- The candidate must have a degree or sub-degree provided by a post-secondary institution.
- The local qualifications accepted differ according to the candidate’s country. You can check the specifications here.
- The candidate must have excellent academic achievements.
How do I apply?
The application has to be submitted online via the university portal.
You have to go to the application type section and click on Undergraduate programmes (government-funded) to reach the application form.
Candidates can apply for up to 3 undergraduate programmes and the scholarship form must be sent along with the course application form.
Documents Required
The required documents must be uploaded along with the application. All the documents mentioned are necessary. Only certified copies must be submitted and not the original documents.
- ID documents.
- Academic transcripts and records.
- Certificates of academic excellence and examination.
- A recent photograph
- Reference letters from any professor or employer.
- Recent address and contact details.
- Student number, if you are currently studying at LU (or it’s affiliated institution) or we’re a former student.
- If there is any academic or award certificate available after the candidate has submitted the application, they can amend the application after informing the university via email at UGadm@LN.edu.hk
Note: The documents must be authentic or the application will not be considered.
Application Deadline?
The application process started on 28 September and will end on 17 May 2022. Candidates must finish the application process before the deadline ends to be considered for the scholarship programme.
