The 24-year-old joins the Scottish side on a contract that will see her stay at the club until 2025.
This comes after Motlhalo parted ways with Swedish club Djurgården IF in November last year, where she spent three seasons.
LINDA MOTLHALO IN HIGH SPIRITS
“I am excited to have signed with Glasgow City. I am looking forward to new experiences and new adventures here,” said Motlhalo on her unveiling.
“As a player, I look to develop further. I can’t wait to get this chapter started.”
City further confirmed that the attacking midfielder will be eligible to play when the side takes on Rangers on Sunday, 29 January in a Scottish Women’s Premier League [SWPL] clash at Broadwood Stadium.
The Banyana star has had stints at clubs such as Houston Dash, and Beijing Phoenix, to mention a few.
Motlhalo boasts 62 caps and 16 goals for South African women’s national team, having made her debut at the age of 17.
Having being part of Banyana’s squad that participated in France at FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2019, Motlhalo will be hoping to form part of Desiree Ellis’ squad set to compete in the upcoming World Cup due to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
