Lynn Forbes, at the age of 55, is on a quest to reshape societal perceptions of middle-aged women and leave a lasting positive impact on the world.

In her recently launched podcast, “Outspoken Owls,” which she co-hosts with her close friend Katie Mohamed, they delve into the concept of a midlife crisis and what it signifies in today’s society.

Life After 50: A New Beginning

Contrary to the common belief that life after 50 offers limited opportunities, Lynn asserts that she has discovered more possibilities in her later years. She challenges the notion that life halts at 50 and instead views this phase as a time filled with potential. “Older, more mature people have opportunities and have more to look forward to and do. So the crisis is really an opportunity,” she explains.

In a previous conversation with news reporters, Lynn expressed that her podcast aims to spark more discussions about middle-aged women while also appealing to a younger audience.

Aging Gracefully with Purpose

“I believe in aging gracefully with purpose,” Lynn states. She emphasizes the importance of self-care, wellness, and soul care in maintaining a good quality of life for as long as possible. “I want to be here for a long time and make sure there’s a positive experience for as long as I can, so I need to do the right things. I need to make sure I’m fit,” she adds.

Through her actions and initiatives, Lynn Forbes is not just redefining middle age but also inspiring others to embrace this phase of life with positivity and purpose.
