2. China and Hector – After 9
China and Hector were at the centre of the series, which followed the life of China, a successful businessman struggling to reconcile his sexuality with family expectations and his heterosexual relationship with his fiancée, Bokang. The drama explored his romantic relationship with Hector, an architect, and the challenges they faced in a society that was often hostile to openly gay relationships.
3. Kgosi and Schumacher – The Queen
Kgosi was an openly gay and flamboyant member of the Khoza family, while Schumacher was a bisexual character known for his charm and complicated love life. Their romance brought bisexuality and same-sex relationships into prime-time television conversations.

6. Lovers featured on Intersexions
