South African media personality Lesego Khoza has reportedly shared a statement on her Instagram story made by her husband, actor Bonko Khoza, in response to the sexual violation allegations brought forward by singer and actress Nirvana Nokwe.

Instagram post sparks public attention

The post, which Lesego reshared on her Instagram story, reportedly featured Bonko’s direct response to the allegations. The statement has since circulated widely online, drawing significant public attention and debate across social media platforms.

While the contents of the statement have been widely discussed, the situation remains sensitive, with details still developing as public conversations continue.

Social media reaction intensifies

The allegations have sparked mixed reactions online, with users weighing in on both the claims and the couple’s public response. The story has quickly become a trending topic within South African entertainment circles, highlighting how quickly personal and legal disputes involving public figures escalate online.

Responding to the statement, an Instagram user shared their opinion: “What I’m getting from this whole situation is that the girl in question might have felt violated by whatever scene that happened. She might not be lying about feeling violated; the only thing is that she’s in this industry and may not have realised how deep or what is demanded by the job of certain characters.

“I hope Nirvana heals and chooses another career because this path is not hers, clearly. Bonko, the next time such scenes are shot, to protect yourselves as males as well against such claims that you may feel are not true, ask the producers to make both of you sign a consent form if that is not already in place.”

Another one said: “I stand with Nirvana.”

While actor Thabo Rametsi said: “Looking forward to resolving this matter and for all to find a path forward. Love to all.”

Ongoing public scrutiny

As reported by Briefly News, the matter remains under public scrutiny, with attention focused on further statements that may emerge from those involved. At this stage, no additional official confirmations have been widely released beyond the shared social media content. The situation continues to develop, with audiences closely watching for any formal updates from the parties involved or their representatives.

To conclude the matter, Nirvana took to her Instagram page to share more information about the rights of a performer.
