South African actress Lerato Nxumalo has been capitalizing on her newly found fame for the past few years and making great career decisions. The actress who debuted her television career as an actress in Durban Gen played Dr Luthuli till she left the show in 2021. However, since then she has diversified her career in entertainment as she tries her hand in different parts. Today Lerato Nxumalo shared that the fruits of her labour are finally showing as she buys a new house and becomes a homeowner at 23.

Lerato became a breakout star in 2020 when she was announced as one of the interns in Durban Gen alongside actresses like Nelisiwe Sibiya, Fanele Ntuli and many others. She became part of that cast for one season of the show before bidding farewell for a new role in Lingashoni. She has been part of the cast of Lingashoni for both their two seasons now as part of the show’s lead cast members.
Like many other actors and artists in the entertainment industry, Lerato Nxumalo has started other income streams to sustain her lifestyle. The actress is famous for her social media presence, constantly posting funny videos mimicking different people. She also has a YouTube channel where she shares videos on bits and pieces of her everyday life. The actress is also a farmer as she has her hand in cattle ranching and owns an impressive herd of cattle in her name.

Taking to her Instagram today, Lerato Nxumalo shared that she has bought a new house in Johannesburg, where she is based. In her caption, Nxumalo shares that she is a first-time homeowner at 23. She says that owning a house is one of the best feelings a person can have, making everyday work worth facing. The actress, in her excitement, shared that she could not wait to renovate and decorate her place.
