Black Leopards and Venda Football Academy [VFA] have reached a settlement regarding rising star Wanga “Messi” Khorommbi.
Khorommbi will play for VFA in the 2022/23 Motsepe Foundation Championship current season.
Both clubs had initially unveiled the player as theirs before the start of the season.
As reported by FARPost three weeks ago, a huge fight had erupted over the Limpopo promising star between the two teams.
The player was playing for local newly promoted ABC Motsepe League side United Artists from Vhembe Region.
VFA were the first announce the Khorommbi as their new acquisition before being unveiled by their arch-rivals Lidoda Duvha.
VFA claimed that the player had signed a contract with the club ahead of the new season which turned out to be true.
This publication had gathered that VFA approached the league after finding out the player has been registered for Lidoda Duvha.
