South Africa’s Lebohang Raputsoe made a proud mark at the 16th Miss Supranational pageant held in Malopolska, Poland, on 27 June.
She advanced to the top 24, showcasing her beauty, intelligence, and cultural pride on the global stage.
MISS SUPRANATIONAL 2025
The competition featured 66 contestants from around the world. Brazil’s Eduarda Braum made history by becoming the first Brazilian to win the Miss Supranational crown.
Germany’s Anna Lakrini was first runner-up, while Quishantely Leito from Curaçao was second runner-up, according to Prime Media Plus.
Lebohang, a doctoral student in Human Resources Management with degrees in Industrial Psychology and Labour Relations, impressed the judges and audience alike.
She is also a model and former Miss South Africa finalist who reached the Top 12 in 2023.
LEBOHANG’S PAGEANT HISTORY
In 2024, she was crowned Miss Cosmo South Africa and placed in the Top 21 at an international pageant in Vietnam.
Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala, national director of Miss Supranational South Africa, expressed pride in Lebohang’s selection.
“We are extremely proud to have chosen a young woman who is kind, who has exceptional leadership qualities.
She has an inspirational story to share with our nation and is ready to make a difference and change lives”.
EDUCATION AND SUSTAINABILITY
Lebohang herself is passionate about education and sustainability. She believes that “education, access to opportunities and information are the keys to heightened potential.”
Her strong advocacy resonated with many South Africans who followed her journey.
Fans and fellow beauty queens celebrated her success. Former Miss SA 2021 and Miss Supranational 2022, Lalela Mswane, cheered: “YES! YES! YES! It’s so on!!!!! I’m so happy!!! Let’s go.”
