Doja Cat is never one to shy away from being her full self in any moment, and she want everyone to do the same.

The Vegas singer sat down with radio personality Angie Martinez on her United Masters podcast, where they spoke about individuality and being comfortable in your own skin, even if it make others cringe.

“Be weird, you’re gonna be cringe to someone whether you like it or not,” said Doja Cat.

“Lean into the weird,” added Martinez.

“The people who think that they’re not cringe and that they’ve got it all together, like, there’s a group of people looking at them going ‘eek’. But they probably look back at those people and they’re like ‘eek’. So, like, at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter,” continued the rapper.

“To lean into your weirdness is to be trusting of your surroundings, or maybe trusting of yourself,” she concluded.

Doja Cat is know to, and somewhat expected to appear at award shows and other industry events wearing outlandish outfits, which she does with ease and style.

She also embraces her eccentric style on stage, delving into aesthetics and retro styles from different decades and different genres within pop culture.
