PhathutshedzoNange has battled with injuries during the 2022-23 campaign, and with game-time having been few and far between this season, it now appears that it could be just a matter of time before he makes his exit from Chiefs.

At a stage when there will be a question mark over a contract extension, it does appear that there other options on the table, and according to a recent report on Soccer Laduma, he is set to leave the club after a meeting with club bosses on Friday.
That exit talk has been gaining traction for some time, and according to KickOff, Nange is one of the players who SuperSport coach Gavin Hunt may be interested in as planning begins to bolster their squad for next season.

Meanwhile, Cole Alexander is set to also be confirmed as one of the departing players from Naturena.
In the coming weeks, announcements on Khama Billiat and Itumeleng Khune are expected as well, with plenty of speculation having done the rounds when it comes their respective future.

Chiefs recently announced the exit of one veteran
One of Kaizer Chiefs’ longest serving players, Erick Mathoho, has already left the club at the conclusion of the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season.
Mathoho, who is now 33, joined Chiefs in July 2012 as a 22-year-old from Bloemfontein Celtic, where he spent three seasons.

The veteran will be fondly remembered for his time at the Soweto side
The hardworking defender featured 267 times (256 starts + 11 substitute appearances) in official matches for Chiefs, scoring 22 goals in 11 seasons.
He played 26 matches in his maiden season (2012/13) and helped the Amakhosi win the league championship and Nedbank Cup double.
He was part of the team that won the MTN8 and the league trophy in 2014/15, and was there when Chiefs won the silver medal in the CAF Champions League in 2021.
