Lamiez Holworthy

Lamiez Holworthy has officially been announced as the first-ever host of the Vanguard Awards, a new category under the prestigious Basadi in Music Awards.

Taking to social media, the award-winning DJ and media personality shared stunning photos of herself alongside a message celebrating women and marking her historic role.

Dressed in an elegant ensemble that radiated confidence and grace, Lamiez captioned the post: “In the spirit of celebrating, honouring and giving women their flowers. My name is Lamiez Holworthy-Morule and, I am your host of the first ever Vanguard awards @basadiinmusicawards_sa.”

The announcement was met with excitement and applause from fans and industry peers, many praising her for continuing to uplift and represent women in the entertainment space.

Lamiez’s hosting role comes as no surprise, but certainly as a proud moment.

The Vanguard Awards will be a new highlight at the Basadi in Music Awards, created to honour trailblazing women who have made an impact in their fields.
