Lady Gaga moved fans to tears during her recent Mayhem Ball tour stop in her hometown, New York City. The singer shared a touching moment about the support she received from her fiancé, Michael Polansky.

LADY GAGA IN NEW YORK

Just before taking to the stage on 22 August, the pop icon revealed how Polansky’s pep talk helped change her mindset.

“I was preparing to fight my way through the show,” Lady Gaga said to the crowd at Madison Square Garden. She referenced how she usually feels the need to ‘earn it’ in New York, according to People.

“But my friend China reminded me of something special. ‘Sometimes you don’t have to fight, you just have to show up.’”

She added that her fiancé echoed similar words: “Right before I came onstage, Michael said, ‘When you go out there, let them fill you up.’”

LADY GAGA ON EMOTIONAL SUPPORT

This encouragement struck a deep chord with Gaga. The singer became visibly emotional as she introduced her song Hair from the album Born This Way.

The album holds a special place for her, and she stated, “I’m sure this album wouldn’t have been made without New York.”

The singer’s heartfelt message reached across borders, resonating with fans who also understand the struggle and determination required to pursue dreams.

Gaga’s words remind us all that sometimes perseverance is about simply being present and receiving support.

NEW POWER COUPLE

Leading up to the concert, Lady Gaga and Polansky were spotted enjoying a date night in New York. This highlighted how their strong relationship contributes to her well-being.

Many fans around the world cherished the moment when Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky publicly confirmed their engagement at the Paris Olympics.

Lady Gaga has more shows in New York on 23, 26, 27 August and returns for dates on 6 and 7 September. Her message of courage, love, and presence continues to uplift her fans everywhere.
