Lady Du Slammed For ‘Supporting Crime’ After Helping Shoplifter
Lady Du thought she was doing good by showing compassion to a lady who went viral for shoplifting. Over the weekend a video of a young lady who was caught stealing diapers at a retail store went viral.
In the video, the lady wearing all black clothes was seen being humiliated by the store staff after they caught her. She had staffed the diapers under her clothes. This resulted in uproar with some social media claiming that she’s a mom in need.
While some disputed the claims stating that she might be a ‘professional shoplifter’.
Lady Du quickly jumped in to assist the lady. Posting the video on her Instagram saying she felt sympathised with her.
The fast-rising singer then came back to reveal that she found the lady. “Hey guys I found Lulama and will be going to her place tomorrow she has 3 kids, currently traumatised by what happened. We need to help more people I’ll be sending her details tomorrow after I meet with her. Someone needs to discipline the staff at @jet for what they did to her.”,” she wrote.

Now this didn’t sit well with some of her followers who accused her of promoting theft.
