South African music star Lady Du has expanded her entrepreneurial footprint by venturing into the wine business.

The Amapiano vocalist took to social media to unveil her new wine brand, Sip of Piano, revealing that the journey to launch it came with major personal and financial sacrifices.

“I won’t stop posting my wine!!!!!!! Please believe in yourselves please there’s nothing ezon hlula if you just push with what you have!!!!!!! lol I took almost all my savings and invested in this 🙏🙏🙏🙏 I don’t even know nje yaz without a lot of work I was approved to sell in stores I need @woolworths_sa only now the others have approved,” she wrote.

Lady Du went on to share that the process was far from easy, disclosing that she was even robbed during the journey, at one point losing her entire savings.

Despite the setback, she said her faith and consistency kept her going.

In a follow-up post, the musician reflected on balancing her creative and business ambitions, noting that both her wine brand and her book were fully self-funded.

“Don’t ever let your ideas live in your head, you won’t see how far you can push yourself ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Both my book and wine are self funded!!! At some point I got to zero, even got robbed of my savings but because I’m consistent in prayer, God has never ever left my side,” she wrote.

She added that music remains part of her plans, confirming she will be releasing new material this year while continuing to build her businesses.

“I’m not just a musician, I’m an entrepreneur using music to make my dreams come true. I thank each and every one of you for your support… I will be releasing music this year. The focus was on securing myself so I never have to rely just on my voice,” Lady Du said.
