L-Tido signs deal with DStv

South African rapper L-Tido, real name Thato Madonsela, has officially secured a broadcast deal with DStv, marking a major milestone in his growing podcast career.

Taking to social media on Tuesday, L-Tido announced that his podcast, which launched three years ago on YouTube, will now be aired every Thursday on DStv.

The show has steadily grown a loyal following, attracting thousands of viewers and gaining momentum in the digital space.

Just last week, the podcast dominated social media conversations after a viral episode featuring actress and presenter Anele Zondo.

A clip showing a flirtatious moment between Anele and L-Tido sparked a flurry of reactions and quickly became a trending topic across platforms.

Riding the wave of that buzz, L-Tido’s new DStv partnership has been met with excitement from fans and fellow entertainers alike.

The comments section on his announcement was flooded with congratulatory messages and playful jabs.

Cassper Nyovest chimed in, saying, “Hahaha you are exactly like me wena!!! Your true colours are coming out!!! Big ups!!!”

Prince Kaybee added, “That kiss worked after all.”

L-Tido also took the opportunity to throw some lighthearted shade at Mac G, whose Podcast and Chill has been a dominant force in the local podcasting scene.

Sharing an old clip of Mac G claiming he would cancel his DStv subscription if they ever replaced his show with L-Tido’s, the rapper suggested that the tables have now turned, especially after Mac G’s reported fallout with the network following controversy involving Minnie Dlamini.

With this new chapter, L-Tido’s podcast is poised to reach even wider audiences, and fans are eager to see what’s next.
