Durban – LIV Durban, a big orphanage in eThekwini, is raising R7-million to produce its own power and water. Our clinic, which serves 6,000 patients a year, has to close. Online schooling stops, and internet issues halt social and support services,” the orphanage said.
Nongoma – Reverend Thulasizwe Buthelezi, the MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs in KZN, has given the Nongoma Local Municipality three days to appoint a new acting municipal manager and chief financial officer. Buthelezi has asked the municipality to suggest two competent people for approval.
