KZN Floods: 45 killed as heavy rains wreak havoc

After days of rain, the eThekwini area experienced destructive flooding that left at least 45 people dead. Deaths, mudslides and collapsed houses were among the horrors seen in Durban on yesterday, 12 April.
Among the dead were five members of the same family in Hammersdale, three members of a family in Quarry Heights and five people in Inanda.
Also places like Umlazi are built up in very peculiar (lack of a better term) ways and very susceptible to mudslides. Infrastructure is giving in to the pressure of the water and people’s property is seriously getting damaged.. #KZNFloods#KZNFlooding
This video gave me literal goosebumps. My heartfelt condolences to people who are being affected by this tragic incident. #KZNFloods#KZNFlooding
