Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian are reenacting the famous Jayne Mansfield and Sophia Loren picture from the 50s.
The sisters rarely appear together in business-related photoshoots without the other sisters, and they chose an epic way to do so.
Their concept stems from the picture made famous by Italian actress Sophia Loren and Jayne Mansfield in 1957.
Kourtney sports a platinum blond wig for her role as ‘Jayne Mansfield’, while Kylie is styled more like herself as the ‘Sophia Loren’ character.
Sophia Loren explains the story behind the famous picture
As reported by People Magazine in 2017, the now 91-year-old Loren explained the story behind the picture.
“She came right for my table, she knew everyone was watching, she sat down. And now, she was barely … Listen. Look at the picture. Where are my eyes? I’m staring at her nipples because I am afraid they are about to come onto my plate,” Loren said years ago.
“In my face you can see the fear. I’m so frightened that everything in her dress is going to blow – BOOM!- and spill all over the table,” she added.
