Kurt-Lee Arendse talks about the Bulls’ chances in the Champions Cup title race and opens up about being compared to Springbok teammate Cheslin Kolbe.
Arendse and the Bulls, much-like the Sharks and Stormers — are currently in their maiden season in the Champions Cup and in an effort to introduce and endear the South African teams and players to the competition’s European-based audience, the European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) are launching a series of one-on-one on-camera interviews.
In a video posted on the EPCR’s social channels, Arendse reveals how the Bulls are handling the added pressures of competing in the prestigious competition and what they expecting to achieve this season.
He then goes on to confess that while the comparisons between him and Kolbe are “nice”, he likes to play in his own way and would like be remembered as such.
