Kristy Scott tackles being the ‘chef’ of the house

Kristy Scott, who recently split from her husband of 11 years, Desmond, is in the kitchen to take her estranged husband’s position as chef.

Scott filmed herself making banana bread, with questionable measurements and method of mixing her ingredients.

Scott is new to the kitchen and grocery shopping after being married to a professional chef and the cook of the house.

She starts the video making light of her very public divorce.

“When life gives you lemons, I make banana bread, again,” she says.

After violently mashing the main ingredient, the bananas, she threw in the rest of the ingredients.

“A little bit of this, and a little bit of that,” as she throws in unidentified liquids into the bowl.

“It’s giving ‘I know what I’m doing.’” she says.

She then opens a packet of muffin mix: “Obviously”.

After waiting for “five to 25 minutes”, Scott takes the muffins out of the oven.

“Look at those. Oh my God,” she says.

Scott tastes her banana muffins and is happy with the results, doing a little dance to celebrate her victory in the kitchen.

But she may be a biased customer, so her sons’ reaction may have been a more honest take.

It will take Desmond a moment to acclimate to the kitchen, but at least she’s a keen student.
